Portage County (Deerfield, Ohio)

This individual, a White female aged between 14 and 17 years old, was found (11-94) in a heavily wooded area of the Berlin Reservoir. My reconstruction appeared in various local papers in December, 1994. But it wasn’t until 2001 that Detective Kim Clements of the Beaver County, PA, District Attorney’s Office found this sketch on the website of the Doe Network (http://doenetwork.bravepages.com). It looked enough like photos of a missing girl from Pennsylvania for DNA comparisons to be conducted. The identity was confirmed as Sarah Rae Boehm, from Rochester, PA, who was reported missing in July, 1994, by her mother. She was 14 years old.

Stark County (Ohio)

This individual, a Black male aged around 25 years (20 – 31 years) was found (12-01) in a farmer’s field in Canton Township, completely skeletonized. The bones were on the surface, not buried. No clothes or personal belongings were found with his remains. The farmer had not plowed this field for the past five years, so he may have died anywhere between 1996 and 2001. He was about 5 feet 7 inches tall (5’4” to 5’10”). He had extensive dental work (many silver fillings and probably had all his wisdom teeth extracted). Anyone having information about this individual should call the Stark County Sheriff's office at (330) 430-3800.

Cuyahoga County (Ohio)

This individual, a middle-aged Black male, was found (Spring 1998) in an abandoned warehouse in Cleveland, Ohio. The remains were skeletonized and the man could have been dead for several years. Anyone with information about this man’s identity should call the Cleveland police homicide unit at
(216) 623-5464.

Cuyahoga County (Ohio)

A Black male skeleton was found in the chimney of the Mount Ararat Baptist Church Youth Center (2-99). He could have been dead for several months or years. He was between 37 to 47 years old and between five foot seven and five foot ten inches tall. Anyone with information about this man’s identity should call the Cleveland police homicide unit at (216) 623-5464.

Erie County (Sandusky, Ohio)

In May, 1996 a partially decomposed body of a woman washed up on the shore of Lake Erie near Cedar Point. She was probably biracial (White and Black), about 40 years old, weighed between 135 and 145 pounds, and was 5 feet, 8 inches tall. There are many clues to her identity: she had a diamond ring on her right hand, an appendectomy scar, evidence for a hysterectomy and a gall bladder operation. Each of her ear lobes had two piercing holes.

Butler County (Ohio)

This individual, a middle-aged White male, was found in the Great Miami River (5-97). His height was about 5 foot 10 inches, and he had a slender waist (33 inches). There was evidence for surgery on the bone of the right orbit. He was wearing jeans and a bead necklace.
